We're hiring a Configuration Manager with hands-on experience managing and maintaining the ServiceNow CMDB in support of IT operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, a passion for process improvement, and a deep understanding of ITIL-based Configuration Management.
Requirements
- Manage and maintain the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Ensure CMDB alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), CI Classes, and relationships
- Use the Identification and Reconciliation (I&R) engine to maintain data accuracy
- Develop, document, and enforce governance policies for CMDB data quality and compliance
- Integrate configuration data from external sources using APIs, MID servers, and other tools
- Support ServiceNow administration and development efforts (e.g., scripting, workflows, integrations)
- Collaborate with IT, security, system owners, and external partners to gather and validate data
- Document CM plans, SOPs, reports, and dashboards to track data health and performance
- Assist in the implementation of ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITOM features
