Peraton is seeking a Customer Support Specialist ("CSS") to join their Department of State (DOS) Bureau of Diplomatic Technology (DT) Consular Affairs Enterprise Infrastructure Operations (CAEIO) team. This role provides IT Operations and Maintenance support to modernize legacy systems, applications, and databases, and supports consular application operations and service events. CSS will be a member of the Service Desk team, reporting to the Service Desk in CA Service Center. The role involves providing remote support, resolving issues, and documenting knowledge base articles.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and active SECRET government security clearance.
  • 1 to 3 years of help desk/service desk experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time.
  • Proficiency with ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
