BGIS is seeking a Data Center Hardware Remediation Technician to troubleshoot server hardware and configurations in a ticket queue. The role requires working out of a location and will involve physical hardware remediation, remote management interface configuration, and troubleshooting logical and physical server issues. Candidates must have strong communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Experience with remote console / server management technologies (BMC/iLo/iDrac/Cyclades/etc.)
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, technicians and vendors.
- Ability to prioritize a large number of tickets.
- Experience working with hardware from multiple vendors.
- Experience working within a ticketing system (Remedy, ServiceNow, etc.)
- High level of written and oral fluency in English.
