ServiceNow is seeking a Database Escalation Engineer to support US Federal and Public Sector customers. The role involves ensuring the reliable and scalable operation of ServiceNow's applications and infrastructure, including restoring database services, guiding SRE and CS teams, and scaling the ServiceNow platform. Candidates must have a background in database technologies and strong troubleshooting skills.
Requirements
- Experience in integrating AI into work processes or problem-solving.
- 4+ years of experience supporting production databases with Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, and analyzing query execution plans.
- In-depth knowledge of running profile and tracing tools in the Database and Linux layer.
- Experience supporting large-scale web-based distributed applications (Apache/Tomcat, WebSphere, SaaS, PaaS Cloud Infrastructure).
- Experience supporting applications on a SaaS, PaaS Cloud Infrastructure product/solution.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in concurrency, multithreading, and distributed system architectures.
- Experience with RHEL certification preferred.
- Eagerness to learn everything about ServiceNow.
