Sword is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join their Desktop Services team in Aberdeen, Scotland. The role involves providing remote and face-to-face support to customers, resolving incidents, and ensuring a first-class service. The position offers a full-time, permanent position within a dynamic IT environment.

Requirements

  • Providing remote and face-to-face support to customers in a professional manner.
  • Ensuring timely responses to incidents and ensuring appropriate logging.
  • Working with other IT teams and the business to resolve desktop-related issues.
  • Operating Systems – Windows 10/11 and Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022)
  • Microsoft applications – Microsoft 365, Office, Teams
  • Basic hardware maintenance (replacing RAM, hard drives, etc.)
  • Support tools – ServiceNow, TopDesk, N-Able
