NSC Global is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer with Inventory Management experience to join their growing company. NSC Global provides global network implementation and support solutions to world-class organizations, partnering with clients to improve agility, commercial advantage, and quality through design, deployment, support, and management of their global IT communications. They are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Maintain accurate records of Starlink devices in the IT Asset Management (ITAM) system.
  • Update inventory with additions, changes, and decommissions of devices in ServiceNow.
  • Perform monthly validation of discovery data from with existing inventory and update AMDB/CMDB.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving of Starlink devices to/from various field and office locations.
  • Provide deskside and remote support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshoot OS and Software Center issues.
  • Support device setup, configuration, and deployment for new hires, refreshes, and break/fix scenarios.
  • Handle hardware loaner requests and asset retrievals using ServiceNow workflows.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware.
  • Experience with desktop operating systems including Microsoft, and Mac OS X.
  • Extensive application support experience.
  • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
  • Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.

Requirements Summary
