Director, ETS - Service Asset Configuration Management

The Director, ETS - Service Asset Configuration Management will lead the Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) function, responsible for hardware and software asset management and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The role will define the short-, medium-, and long-term strategy for the CMDB and chair various governance boards. The Director will be accountable for the end-to-end governance of software and hardware asset management, using discovery and automation tools to ensure accuracy and auditability. The role requires a strong understanding of ITIL and experience leading and developing config management strategies in a global organization.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience operating and maintaining Asset Management and CMDB (ServiceNow & Flexera Preferred)
• Experience leading and developing Config management strategies in a global organisation
• Excellent stakeholder management and experience working and dealing with suppliers and vendors
• Technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform is an advantage
• Great communication, facilitation and relationship building skills with the ability to work with others to achieve objectives
• Demonstrable ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
• Experience in a globally distributed team environment
• A self-starter with high levels of drive, energy, resilience and ability to take the initiative
• Ability to analyse requests or issues and deliver the best possible solution
• Ability to prioritize, re-schedule or adapt to changes
• Ability to make decisions in pressure situations
• Can work well in diverse, multinational teams and influence others to achieve positive outcomes
• ITIL training (preferred)
• Experience leading services and projects in an agile DevOps environment (preferred)
• Business Analysis experience
• Influencing and Innovation skills
• Good written and verbal skills, fluent English
• High level of customer focus
