Engineering Program Manager, Data Center Efficiency

Apple is seeking a highly organized Program Manager to join their Data Center efficiency team, focused on decommissioning hardware assets and managing infrastructure risks. This role requires orchestration of decommissioning programs, ensuring system retirement, and collaborating with engineering, operations, security, and finance to improve resiliency and optimize hardware lifecycle. The program manager will also distill complex technical programs for leadership updates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in data center or infrastructure environments
• Solid understanding of server hardware lifecycle management and infrastructure operational risk
• Experience leading technical projects with cross-functional teams
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
• Proficiency in project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Asana) and data reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and time management skills
