Engineering Program Manager, Data Center Efficiency

Apple is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Manager to join its Data Center efficiency team, focusing on decommissioning hardware assets and managing infrastructure risks. This role requires precision in server decommissioning, coordination with cross-functional teams, and providing strategic updates to senior leadership. The manager will also track decommissioning activities, manage infrastructure risk, and drive infrastructure efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in data center or infrastructure environments
• Solid understanding of server hardware lifecycle management and infrastructure operational risk
• Experience leading technical projects with cross-functional teams
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
• Proficiency in project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Asana) and data reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and time management skills
