The Field Service Technician Lead will oversee and optimize the training and employment of SCITES 2 contract Field Service Technicians operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations, improving processes and technology solutions. The role will ensure smooth and efficient implementation of Enterprise Information Environment (EIE) technology capabilities across USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES).
Requirements
- Must hold an active secret level clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 8 – 12 years of experience in IT Systems and Networks Maintenance and repair.
- DoD 8140 Intermediate or Equivalent Industry Certification (SEC+) CCNA, CASP, etc.
- Proven ability to lead and facilitate meetings with diverse groups of stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience in a large, distributed IT enterprise
- Experience working in the field supporting DoD
- Experience with installation, repair and testing of technology systems in remote areas
- Experience with FOC and copper cable repair
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles
