GTM Commercial Revenue Accountant

ServiceNow is seeking a GTM Commercial Revenue Accountant to join the EMEA Go-To-Market (GTM) Finance team. This role is crucial for aligning financial goals with broader business objectives and ensuring financially effective and sustainable go-to-market strategies. The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to integrate financial considerations into go-to-market processes and providing data-driven insights for informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Prior SaaS, software or hardware industry GTM finance / revenue recognition experience is plus.
• 5 years relevant industry accounting experience, including process and system experience, preferably with a background in a public accounting firm.
• A basic exposure to (US GAAP) software revenue recognition under ASC 606, SAB 104 and EITF 08-1 as it relates to SaaS or software companies (or experience with EITF 00-21) and working knowledge of all other current literature related to revenue recognition a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented self-starter with both drive and ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and able to simplify complex issues for non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret complex commercial transactions and propose alternatives in line with company requirements.
• Dynamic team player with great interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
