Hardware Asset Management Analyst

The Hardware Asset Management Analyst will manage the lifecycle of server and infrastructure hardware assets, partnering with IT and business stakeholders to develop and support processes and automation using ServiceNow. The role requires knowledge of infrastructure assets, including servers, switches, virtual machines, and machine-supported devices, and 4+ years of experience in managing physical and virtual assets.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of server hardware, including networking, virtualization technologies, cloud computing (AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity
• Understanding of PVU, core licensing metrics
• Experience with ServiceNow specifically in Hardware and Computer/CMBD tables
• Experience with discovery tools such as ServiceNow CMBD, Tanium, SCCM
• Strong organizational & analytical skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work and manage time effectively
• Ability to produce high-quality deliverables in an accurate and timely manner
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated, able to work independently, possesses acute attention to detail
• Good facilitator/mediator able to resolve conflict
• Bachelor's degree or higher in related technology field or comparable job experiences
• ITILv4 certification preferred
• ITAM certifications (CSAM, CHAMP) preferred
