Hardware Asset Management Analyst

The Hardware Asset Management Analyst will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of server and infrastructure hardware assets, partnering with IT and Business stakeholders to develop and support processes and workflows using ServiceNow. The role requires strong understanding of server hardware, networking, virtualization technologies, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.

Requirements

• Maintaining a comprehensive and accurate record of all servers, including hardware specifications, software licenses, and deployment locations.
• Managing entire lifecycle of a server, from initial deployment to retirement, including upgrades, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Ensuring compliance with software licenses, including tracking installations, usage and potential over consumption or underutilization.
• Collaborate with infrastructure stakeholders to baseline and ensure accurate asset ownership and attribute data.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of server configurations, software versions, and other relevant attributes.
• Managing KPI’s, reporting, and audits of infrastructure assets for stakeholders and leadership.
