Abacus Technology is seeking a Help Desk Support Specialist to provide technical support for Army IT systems, networks, and end-users at Fort Bragg. The role involves assisting users with troubleshooting, configuring devices, and providing basic training, while also maintaining system security and infrastructure. This is a full-time position.
Requirements
- 1+ years experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and IT operations
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (desired)
- Security+ or equivalent certification required (or MCSA cert in 6 months)
- MCSA certification desired
- ITIL Foundations training desired
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, network configurations, and user account management
- Experience setting up and troubleshooting user accounts, software applications, and peripheral devices
- Experience replacing and configuring computer components
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with Army IT security policies and Active Directory
- Experience using ITSM tools (Servicenow, Remedy, or Army-specific ticketing systems)
- US citizenship and current Secret clearance
