The IS Senior Manager, Portfolio Execution, is responsible for driving consistent, high-quality execution of priority projects across MUSC's Information Systems (IS) portfolio, including initiatives within Workday, Research Education Systems, core IS functions, and the Community Connect program.

Requirements

  • Manage and lead a high-performing team of project managers, technical business analysts, and project coordinators to drive successful delivery across the IS project portfolio.
  • Provide oversight and guidance for IS-led projects, serving as an escalation point to resolve issues and ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with the ePMO to support enterprise-wide project execution and ensure adherence to shared methodologies and standards.
  • Guide matrixed project teams across the IS department, promoting best practices in project management and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Define, implement, and refine project and portfolio management methodologies.
  • Lead improvements to the internal project intake and evaluation process.
  • Ensure the successful execution of projects for MUSC's Community Connect customers, as well as new implementations, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Partner with the ServiceNow team to optimize the use and functionality of the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) application for IS users.
