The IT Business Analyst is responsible for evaluating and improving SEPTA's enterprise systems and business processes across departments. This role focuses on gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions that align with organizational goals, IT capabilities, and governance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365, SAP, ServiceNow, SharePoint, or Jira
  • Experience with process documentation and business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucid chart)
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven experience facilitating meetings and workshops
  • Familiarity with or certification in ITIL, TOGAF, PMI or Agile (e.g., SAFe, Scrum) best practices
