IT Category Manager

VTekis Consulting LLC is seeking a Contract IT Category Manager to lead and manage the global technology procurement category portfolio. The role involves managing sourcing processes, building supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with sourcing policies. This position is a strategic initiative for delivering professional services to clients in the IT sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology or related field
• 5+ years of experience in developing and executing IT Sourcing software, hardware and IT Professional Services
• CPM/CPSM or PMP certification a plus
• Prior experience with negotiating with Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft and ServiceNow preferred
• Prior experience with negotiating with IT contracting and consulting firms (e.g., Infosys, Accenture) preferred
• Effective communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact with C-suite leadership
• Experience with sourcing methodology and delivering significant cost reductions
• Strong process management, organizational and effective time management skills
• Strong attention to detail with strong documentation skills
