Legal & General (L&G) is seeking a strategic IT Environment & Release Manager to lead the stability, control, and efficiency of their non-production environments. This role focuses on coordinating environment usage, upgrades, and service levels, while collaborating with architects and project teams to align environment designs with strategic goals. The role involves monitoring incidents, analysing trends, and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools and integration
  • Knowledge of Environment and Release, Configuration and Test Management principles and policies
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure
  • Knowledge of SDLC
  • Prior experience in IT Environment and Release Management
  • Experience/exposure to DevOps and Agile methodology
  • Experience with release management tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Plutora, GitHub, GitHub Actions
  • Exposure to Source/Version control tools, CI/CD pipelines, Branching concepts
