IT Infrastructure Network Engineer

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Senior or mid-level IT Infrastructure Network Engineer to design, build, and maintain IT infrastructure environments. The role involves collaborating with application/storage/compute engineers to implement solutions and manage network services. The position focuses on virtual security zones and network expansion, offering end-to-end understanding of the infrastructure. The GSC – NSC IT Infrastructure team provides support and execute strategic initiatives for numerous end users.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiAnalyzer)
• Experience in Network infrastructure design and transitions.
• Firewalls (Fortigate, Checkpoint)
• Data Centre network experience
• Cisco based routing and switching (CCNP level)
• Knowledge of protocols: IP, SNMP, SMTP, OSPF, VLAN
• ACLs
• Static routing
• SDWAN
• Switch stacking
• Experience of complex network migrations
• Wireless experience
• Ticketing tools experience (preferably ServiceNow)
• Ability to read, understand, and create technical documentation
• Collaborative team player
