The IT Operations Specialist will play a central role in bridging business users, application developers, and IT infrastructure teams. The role involves gathering business requirements, managing and supporting key applications, providing advanced technical support, and coordinating infrastructure activities to keep FCCC's critical systems highly available, reliable, and optimized for both current and future business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field and 2 years of relevant IT experience
  • Experience in application management/administration (including ownership, enhancements, and upgrades)
  • Strong experience gathering business/user requirements and translating into technical solutions
  • Hands-on experience with technical support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for enterprise applications
  • Foundation in IT infrastructure (Linux/Unix/Windows administration, networking, storage, datacenter operations)
  • Familiarity with incident/ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Strong documentation, communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
  • Vendor management and experience supporting third-party application platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Azure, AWS
