The Release Manager for IT Services is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the deployment of software updates, infrastructure changes, and new services into production environments. This role ensures that releases are implemented smoothly, on time, and with minimal disruption to business operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 5-7 years of proven experience in release management, IT services, or software development lifecycle management
- Strong experience in working with CI/CD pipelines and release automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Strong knowledge of ITIL release management processes
- Excellent project management skills, with experience using tools like Jira, ServiceNow, etc.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple releases simultaneously
