IT Technician

Peraton is seeking a IT Technician to join the FAA's Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) contract. This role focuses on providing technical support for installation, configuration, and optimization of IT hardware, software, and networks within federal environments. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor and technical authority, leading troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and optimization of IT systems.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Public Trust Clearance (required)
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5-10 years experience OR equivalent education and 10-7 years experience (HS diploma/equivalent and 10+ years experience)
• Proven expertise in hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Hands-on experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, group policies, and user account management.
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITSM processes (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
