Lab IT Support Engineer needs 7 years of experience to troubleshoot computer issues, implement validated data backup solutions, and support scientists with incident management, user support, and access management.

Requirements

  • Outstanding computer troubleshooting skills for obscure issues
  • Background with End-user Computing or Desktop Support skills
  • Break/Fix consisting of 80% of a Lab Engineer's workload
  • Understanding of hardware components and networking concepts
  • Familiarity with the OSI model and ability to troubleshoot different network layers
  • Knowledge and understanding of Active Directory
  • D2D and/or project support
  • AGILE ways of working necessary
  • Background with computer security
  • Previous experience with validated systems (GxP) a plus
  • Microsoft Excel skills a plus
  • In-depth knowledge in Microsoft OS including iOS and Linux a plus
