DTCC is seeking a Lead Application Support Engineer (SRE) to provide technical support for the Enterprise Application Support SRE (EAS SRE) team, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems. The role involves collaboration with development teams, infrastructure, and security partners to improve observability and operational supportability of critical applications. This position requires a strong understanding of SRE principles and practices and the ability to contribute to SRE culture and best practices.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of SRE Principles/Practices and metrics as well as traceability
  • Problem-solving skills and passion for automation
  • Failure Mode Analysis - evaluate how the application behaves for hardware failures in the middle of processing.
  • Knowledge of DevOps toolchains and process
  • Working knowledge in the following is a big plus: SQL/PLSQL, Unix, Linux, Windows, Shell Scripting, Python, Perl, JavaScript
  • AutoSys, ServiceNow, JIRA
