The Lead Engineer will be responsible for the daily operations of the Operations Site Team, ensuring the Data Centre is safe, efficient, and compliant with SLAs and KPIs. This role involves maintaining reactive and planned maintenance, using the CMMS system, and resolving incidents promptly. The engineer will oversee technical audits, coordinate incident management, and provide technical guidance to the site team.
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in mission-critical mechanical and electrical environments, ideally in IT/Telecoms or data centres.
- Strong knowledge of key data centre infrastructure components (UPS, generators, cooling systems) and critical building systems (electrical, mechanical, building fabric).
- ITIL and/or ServiceNow experience preferred; able to prepare and present technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, breaking down complex issues and prioritizing details.
