Leader - North American Payroll

Sonoco is a global packaging solutions company looking for a Leader - North American Payroll to oversee payroll operations in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 7-10 years' experience leading a large, multi-state payroll organization
• Experience with Workday, Equifax, ADP, ServiceNow
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Extensive knowledge of payroll function, including preparation, balancing, internal control and payroll taxes
• Driving compliance with SOX controls and GAAP
• Change and continuous improvement mindset
• Excellent communication skills
• Collaborative with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to build a high performing team in a complex environment
