The LMON System Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting a complex client/server architecture that enables the development, testing, and deployment of enterprise-wide modeling and simulation applications.
Requirements
- Administer and maintain Linux, Windows 10, 11, and Server 2016 environments, including virtualized platforms such as VMware.
- Manage Active Directory, Remedy, ServiceNow, or other incident management systems.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution for both basic and complex IT issues, escalating as necessary.
- Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Lead and coordinate a small team (2-5 personnel) in daily tasks, including ticket resolution, inventory management, and patch administration.
- Support all phases of system engineering and integration, including planning, implementation, deployment, and sustainment.
- Assist with infrastructure design, testing, and release upgrades to optimize system performance.
