We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Configuration Manager to support Navy acquisition programs throughout the full system lifecycle—from program inception through deployment, sustainment, and disposal. This role is responsible for developing and executing configuration management (CM) strategies, maintaining baselines, managing change control processes, and ensuring compliance with CM standards and best practices.
Requirements
- ACTIVE and MAINTAINED 'SECRET' Federal or DoD security clearance
- TEN (10) or more years of relevant experience in configuration management and product lifecycle management
- Experience with CCBs, ECPs, and CM audits
- Familiarity with CM/PLM tools (e.g., CMPro, Siemens Teamcenter, ServiceNow)
- Master's degree
- Fifteen (15) or more years of relevant experience in configuration management
- Experience developing system and subsystem baseline artifacts for complex projects
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition and systems engineering lifecycle frameworks
- CMII, ASEP, PMP, or ITIL certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and technical writing skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the U.S. (approx. one week every 2–3 months)
