Nexperia is hiring a Network Engineer to own, troubleshoot and resolve complex network and infrastructure incidents in a mission critical 24/7 semiconductor manufacturing environment. The role involves leveraging strong technical expertise across Cisco technologies and ITIL practices to maintain secure and highly available network services.
Requirements
- CCNA/CCNP qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience with ServiceNow ticketing and service management processes
- Ability to design, implement, and support scalable, secure Cisco LAN/WAN/WLAN/DC networks
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and Layer 2/3 design with a deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, QoS, MPLS, VPNs, VLANs, and IP subnetting
- Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches; SAN and DC networking experience
- Check Point and/or Cisco ASA firewall experience and Cisco wireless networking (WLC, APs)
- Cisco ISE, Prime Infrastructure management tools, and experience in MPLS and observium monitoring tools
- Familiarity with ITIL service management processes
- Willingness and aptitude for learning new systems and advancing skillset individually and as part of a team
