Leidos is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to support mission-critical federal IT infrastructure. The role involves monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting incidents within federal networks and systems to ensure optimal performance and continuous availability.
Requirements
- BS degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience in a network operations, help desk, or IT support role or Masters degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Oral and written communication for change procedures, and management updates
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk, or similar).
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and network protocols.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-availability, fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Must possess an active Security+ or equivalent
- Must possess an active DoD Secret with eligibility for a Top Secret at time of consideration.
- Prior experience with OSI Layers, Security, Storage, VMWare, System/Network Admin
- Tools: Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Remedy/ServiceNow, Wiki’s, MS Project
- Certifications: Cloud, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft
