Observability, Senior Specialist

Interac is seeking a Senior Specialist in Observability to play a critical role in ensuring the robustness, visibility, and availability of their application, infrastructure, and services. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise to ensure the successful implementation and administration of enterprise solutions, champion best practices for monitoring and observability, and drive the successful outcomes of the organization.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar
• Minimum 2-5 years of work experience administrating Splunk and/or Dynatrace
• Experience with ServiceNow (ITSM/ITOM) and managing tool integration with ServiceNow
• Extensive experience working with Splunk, visualization products and/or Dynatrace
• Experience with leading teams and providing observability vision and roadmaps
• Experience with log and metrics collection and analysis
• Deeply familiar with application monitoring for Java applications & microservices architectures
• Proficiency in working with both Linux/Unix and Windows systems
• Knowledge in one or more scripting languages
• ITIL service management processes
• Skills in IT problem diagnosis and resolution
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• A love of learning and ability to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge
