Platform Developer

Hertz is seeking a highly skilled Software Application Developer to design, develop, and support a custom enterprise content management application and OCR solution using Kofax/AWS Textract. This role involves hands-on full-stack development, agile environments, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will translate business processes into scalable applications.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in software/application development
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and architecture patterns (certification preferred)
• Experience in building secure, high-performing scalable applications with AWS-native services
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET Core)
• Strong experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Git, Docker, CloudFormation or Terraform, CI/CD pipelines)
• Experience with designing workflow automation or document management systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Skilled in documenting business opportunities, risks, and success factors for applications
• Proficient in Jira, ServiceNow, and Confluence
• Degree in engineering, computer science, management, or business (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to work in distributed teams with 24x7 onshore-offshore coverage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
