We are looking for a Portfolio Analyst to manage the front end of the project lifecycle and align demand with strategic priorities and delivery capacity. As a Portfolio Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating new project and initiative requests, prioritizing demand, and ensuring transparency and traceability. This is a full-time position based in Calgary or Brampton.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in portfolio management, business analysis, or project intake/demand planning roles.
- Experience working in a Portfolio and Communications Office (PCO) or similar governance structure is preferred.
- Proficiency in portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, or similar).
- Strong understanding of intake-to-delivery workflows and demand management frameworks.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to support prioritization and planning decisions.
- Familiarity with financial planning, capacity modeling, and resource forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into structured intake and demand documentation.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence across cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable facilitating meetings, prioritization forums, and stakeholder discussions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
