Quality Assurance Specialist (3 month contract)

Parsons is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to drive quality through innovation, automated test creation, manual testing, and thoughtful debate. The role involves setting up, maintaining, and extending test automation frameworks and tools to enhance software and hardware components' quality.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong background in automation using Java, Python, or JavaScript (Node JS)
• 1 year of experience with JavaScript-based Playwright/Cypress/Appium for Web and Mobile Automation and Postman for API testing
• Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries
• Well-versed with cloud services, especially AWS is a plus
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Azure Dev-ops and navigating customized software solutions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, organization, facilitation, and team skills
• Ability to work independently on projects with tight deadlines
• Analytical, thorough, logical, detail-oriented, team player
