Albemarle is seeking a Regional IT Helpdesk Analyst to join their Budapest team, supporting a wide area of the EMEA region. This role is crucial for resolving user IT issues, troubleshooting systems and applications, and ensuring a seamless IT experience for Albemarle's employees. It involves both technical expertise and excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

  • Assist in the IT team supporting the broader EMEA region (~1500 users).
  • Serve as first point of contact for IT incidents and escalate as needed.
  • Troubleshoot system and application problems.
  • Security focused, deploy patches as required.
  • Printer and MFD support.
  • Basic PBX support.
  • Be aware of IT best practices.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Windows Server/Workstation expertise.
  • Virtualization technologies (VMWare) knowledge (advantageous).
  • Experience with Microsoft or Azure platforms (advantageous).
  • Familiarity with OT/PCS systems.
  • Experience with Enterprise Software Systems (ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams)

Requirements Summary

Bachelor’s degree in IT with relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, CompTIA). 2+ years experience in IT support. Experience with Windows Server & Microsoft Office Suite
