Lead the smooth transition of application features, drive continuous improvement, and optimize business application service operations as a Senior Application Support Specialist.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the technology and/or financial industry
- Proficient in relational databases (SQL Server/PostgresDB) using SQL
- Proven experience with Incident and Problem Management
- Experience in programming languages such as Java and/or Python
- Experience in cloud services such as AWS (certification is a plus)
- Knowledge Snowflake is a plus
- Knowledge in Business Intelligence tools (Qlik) is a plus
- Proficiency with collaboration and project tools like Jira and Confluence; background in ServiceNow is a big plus
- Good understanding or have gained experience on at least one common Enterprise Agile Framework e.g., Kanban, SAFe, SCRUM, etc. (certification is a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to see the big picture, understand how the details contribute to that, and think through the cause-and-effect relationships that can create change
- Proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple operations/projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Accurate, effective, and independent working style
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and confidently interact with business users
- Knowledge about private markets would be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
