Velotio Technologies is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their team, specializing in Datadog and contributing to a FinOps initiative to significantly reduce Datadog spend. The role involves overseeing complete-stack solutions, data monitoring, incident management, and collaboration with clients. Requirements
- 6+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Observability roles
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Datadog
- Proven client-facing experience
- Strong in Datadog pipelines, tagging, alerting, dashboards, and cost controls
- Proficiency with Terraform or Datadog APIs
- Git-based workflows and CI/CD for observability configuration
- Familiarity with incident management tools like PagerDuty, ServiceNow, Slack
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
