ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Linux Performance Engineer to join their Federal customer support team. This role involves maintaining and optimizing production database and application services, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with development and engineering teams. The position requires a strong background in database technologies, performance analysis, and RHEL, and a passion for solving challenging problems in dynamic environments.
Requirements
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes.
- 4+ years of experience supporting production databases with Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, and analyzing query execution plans for Postgres/MySQL/MariaDB.
- 4+ years of experience with performance and stress testing tools and approaches.
- Experience supporting large-scale web-based distributed applications such as Apache/Tomcat, and WebSphere in a Linux environment.
