Senior Linux System Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Linux System Engineer to join our team in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organisation's server, virtualisation, and Microsoft ecosystem. As a Senior Linux System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in this strategic transformation and have the opportunity to grow and develop in a dynamic and agile business.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in Linux system engineering roles - Redhat Enterprise Linux
• Expertise with cloud technologies and automation/deployment tools aligning with SDLC
• Expertise across Redhat Enterprise Linux systems technologies
• Experience and thorough understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes such as change management, incident management, and configuration management
• Strong understanding of systems concepts and protocols
• Experience with systems security measures
• Proficiency in systems monitoring and management tools (e.g., Ansible, Sentinel, Azure monitoring SolarWinds, ServiceNow)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Hands-on experience with systems implementation
• Project management and organisational skills
