Senior Site Reliability Engineer - DevOps - Halifax

Job Summary: This role will be responsible for the development, implementation, and support of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) solutions for applications supported by the QTS DevOps team. The incumbent will need intermediate knowledge and experience working in an application development, DevOps and/or technology operations organization.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in a variety of SRE languages and tools (Terraform, Ansible Dynatrace, ServiceNow, GitHub, Slack, Elastic, Kibana)
• Intermediate knowledge of industry practices, with a focus on SRE, DevOps
• Intermediate experience in a variety of environments (Cloud, Linux/Unix/Windows and services/APIs, databases)
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective negotiation skills, stakeholder management
• Ability to influence the larger DevOps group at an SRE level
