We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Federal SRE team. The team is responsible for maintaining and developing the reliability, scalability, and performance of the ServiceNow cloud infrastructure. As a Senior SRE, you will help deliver 24x7 support for our Government Cloud infrastructure and work to drive technical resolutions across the technology stack from hardware through to application and all stops in between.
Requirements
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years experience with deep knowledge of Linux systems
- 4+ years experience scripting automation at the enterprise level in various languages; we normally prefer Python, JavaScript
- Expert level database skills in administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
- Expertise in Observability and Monitoring of applications, services, and networks at scale
- Experience with Cloud technologies, preferably Azure
- Senior level networking skills, IP addressing and routing
- Team-first attitude and an uncompromising attention to detail
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work in shifts that cover one weekend day
- Experience developing on the ServiceNow Platform is a bonus
