Senior Staff Software Engineer

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to develop and maintain their time series database for IoT applications. The role involves building scalable and reliable solutions, collaborating with engineering leaders, and contributing to the product strategy. The engineer will act as a mentor to colleagues and share their expertise in AI-integrated solutions.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
• Advanced knowledge experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases including development, troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Capability to manage multiple projects with material technical risk across teams and processes
• 10+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language and the ability to design, develop, and optimize complex software systems and applications.
