ServiceNow ITOM / CMDB Architect - Immediate Start

Datacom is seeking a ServiceNow ITOM / CMDB Architect to lead ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB implementations for major Australian and New Zealand customers. The role involves designing solutions, guiding development teams, and ensuring high-quality handover to operations. The role is based in Australia and New Zealand with office in both countries.

Requirements

• 5+ years of ServiceNow platform experience with ITOM/CMDB delivery.
• Proven consulting experience in leading ITOM/CMDB implementations in client environments.
• Certified ServiceNow CIS for ITOM/Discovery/Service Mapping/CMDB.
• Strong hands-on experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration and Cloud Management.
• Deep familiarity with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and CMDB reconciliation approaches.
• Experience with MID Server architecture, Discovery Patterns and tuning.
• Broad integration knowledge (REST, SOAP, SSO/SAML, LDAP, JDBC/ODBC, FTPS)
• Solid scripting skills (JavaScript - Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages; Angular/JS is a plus).
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience working across SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, SAFe).
