We are seeking a detail-oriented ServiceNow QA/Test Engineer to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our ServiceNow platform through comprehensive testing strategies and quality assurance practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on ServiceNow testing experience
- Proven experience with manual and automated testing methodologies
- Experience testing ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog)
- Practical experience creating and executing test cases and test plans
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform functionality and architecture
- Proficiency with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) for test automation
- Experience with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, UAT, smoke testing)
- Understanding of ServiceNow development components (workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies)
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP API testing and tools (Postman, SoapUI, REST clients)
- Familiarity with test management & defect tracking tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Zephyr, qTest, or similar)
- Knowledge of SQL and database querying for data validation
- Understanding of ServiceNow tables, forms, and data relationships
- Experience with ServiceNow update sets and application deployment testing
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, JSON)
- Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools
- Excellent documentation and technical writing abilities
- Effective communication skills for reporting defects and collaborating with teams
- Critical thinking skills to identify edge cases and potential issues
- Team collaboration skills with developers and business analysts
- Time management skills to meet release deadlines
