As a Software Asset Management Analyst at NAV CANADA, you will be responsible for ensuring that software assets are procured, controlled, and managed in accordance with financial and legal requirements. You will also participate in vendor negotiations and provide software licensing knowledge to team members and clients.
Requirements
- Consult with Technology Organization colleagues and clients to understand software licensing requirements
- Oversee vendors to obtain software quotes and negotiate favourable contract terms
- Track and prepare software renewals to ensure deadlines and contract terms are met
- Conduct compliance reviews of software use within NAV CANADA to identify exposures and recommend remediation
- Investigate and identify areas of software under-utilization and propose cost avoidance strategies
- Maintain software information in existing systems
