We are looking for a Software Engineer III with skills to automate repeatable processes to improve cloud governance capabilities, develop integrated solutions, and assist in policy-as-code delivery across a multi-cloud ecosystem.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of software engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline or any combination of equivalent relevant education, training and experience
- Python programming experience
- A secondary programming language such as Java or Golang
- Experience in Infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation, etc.
- Knowledge of Agile principles and Sprint Planning, including planning/backlog tools (e.g. JIRA)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Innovative problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing creative solutions to technical challenges.
- Experience building Jenkins pipelines and managing github repos
- Git source code control
- Data Engineering experience with Databricks
- Experience with Jupyter notebooks
- Experience in ETL workflows using spark, AWS Glue, or similar pipelines
- Cloud infrastructure development or resource management experience using public cloud provider platforms and services (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Some knowledge of Cloud Custodian and Open Policy Agent Rego
- Knowledge of cloud governance principles, strategy, risk, compliance.
- Governance, risk and compliance knowledge and appreciation.
- Experience in cloud security best practices
- Some experience in building dashboards and reporting and creating metrics from data
- Basic knowledge of Cloud Security/Cybersecurity practices
- Familiarity with ServiceNow development
