Solutions Consultant (Live Action)

BlueCat is seeking a Solutions Consultant – LiveAction to deliver world-class deployment, integration, and optimization services for their LiveAction products, LiveNX (network performance management and analytics), and LiveWire (packet capture and network forensics). This hands-on role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing network architectures, as well as providing customer engagement and mentoring. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and customer-focused professional with a strong networking background.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent
• Proven experience in multi-vendor networking (Cisco IOS-XE, NX-OS, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.)
• Advanced networking certifications (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN architectures, VPNs, SD-WAN solutions (Fortinet, Prisma, SilverPeak, VMware/Broadcom, Cisco/Viptela, etc.)
• Familiarity with QoS, application flow analysis, and packet-level tools (Wireshark, Riverbed)
• Experience with Linux, VMware/ESXi, KVM, hybrid/cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of authentication systems (SSO, Cisco ISE/TACACS+, RADIUS, LDAP)
• Experience with RBAC, SSL certificate deployment, and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow)
• Scripting/automation with Python or JavaScript
• Excellent communication skills
• Hands-on experience with LiveAction tools
