Sr. Manager, Software Sourcing (Hybrid)

RTX Corporation is seeking a Sr. Manager, Software Sourcing to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital/IT sourcing and spend analysis, with experience in negotiating software contracts and analyzing data to drive cost savings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Data Science or related discipline
• Minimum 7-10 years of Digital/IT Sourcing and Spend Analysis experience
• Microsoft data management, visualization and presentation applications such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SharePoint, PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint and Power Automate
• Hands-on sourcing and contracting experience with top tier software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday and/or ServiceNow, etc.) and/or service (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, etc.) providers
• SAP Ariba upstream solutions (e.g., Contracts, Sourcing, Spend Analysis, Supplier Information and Performance Management, etc.) is highly desired
• In-depth understanding of various types of software licensing models
• Analyzing and/or negotiating software contracts to drive year on year cost savings to help RTX meet its bottom line
• Contract redlines
• Business acumen to connect technical requirements and concerns to contract performance
• The procurement process
• Financial information, budgets and program performance; develop strategies and business cases to improve performance in these areas
