Sr Platform Engineer

Consumers Energy is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead the development and expansion of their internal AI bot platform, serving as the primary resource for their customers. This role involves scoping solutions, deploying integrations, and ensuring platform security. Collaboration with other application teams and integration with third-party platforms like SharePoint and ServiceNow are key responsibilities.

Requirements

• Mentor junior engineers
• Develop security and compliance strategies
• Troubleshoot complex issues
• Lead automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
• Design and implement high-availability infrastructure and platform solutions
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the platform
• Optimize cloud and on-premises environments
• Perform other duties as assigned
