SRE/Production support with GCP Mid-Level

Globant seeks a SRE/Production support with GCP Mid-Level to help business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in the technological era. The role requires strong experience with Google Cloud Platform services, log analysis, and Linux/Unix systems.

Requirements

• Fluent English (B2 - Upper Intermediate)
• 3+ years of experience in Production Support, Site Reliability Engineering, or DevOps.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, especially Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Storage.
• Proficiency with log analysis and alerting tools like Splunk, Grafana, Stackdriver, or Datadog.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking basics, and performance tuning.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent).
• Experience with incident management processes, ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA), and ITIL best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Spinnaker.
• Experience supporting Java or microservices-based applications.
• Knowledge of security practices in cloud environments.
