ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Data Platform Software Engineer to build and optimize data pipelines, semantic layers, and data applications. The role focuses on creating scalable and reliable solutions for data analysis and decision-making, leveraging technologies like Spark, Trino, and Tableau. ServiceNow aims to deliver innovative AI-enhanced technology to over 8,100 customers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with Java or similar OO language.
- Experience with Core Java development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented and modularized software, with an emphasis on Java.
- Experience with relational databases: Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, and/or PostgreSQL, Snowflake or Databrics.
- Strong understanding of SQL and query development.
- Familiarity with Unix shell.
- Expertise in writing Java code and working knowledge of JavaScript.
